"So how did Jesus deal with injustices? First and Foremost, Jesus went to all people and did not just talked about Race, Religious or Economic solutions, but went into their homes, ate, drank, cried and laughed with people.
... From this understanding of Jesus’ response to injustices Pope Paul VI said, that if you want Peace you must work for Justice. Working for Justice for a Catholic cannot be simply standing on the corners of our streets and shouting out “enough is enough.” It is a start! However, if we want true Peace, Racial Equality, and Economic Justice we must remember Jesus’ story to those who were surprised when they were not welcomed into God’s Kingdom. Why are we here they demanded? Jesus said when I was hungry you did not feed me, when I was thirty you did not give me to drink, when I was in prison you did not come to visit me. What? When did we see you in these….? When you saw the least of my brothers and sisters you saw me. ... Letter from Fr. Ray. & Statement from Cardinal Blase J.
